How work is carried out at the studio
Every watch begins with an intake assessment. We note the condition of the case, movement, and any existing issues, and take photographs. You receive a copy of this record. From there, each service follows its own sequence — no steps are skipped and no steps are added without your knowledge.
Timelines vary by service. A straightforward regulation takes three to five working days to measure properly. A water resistance check, including gasket sourcing if needed, typically takes two to four days. A complete restoration is handled over a longer period and discussed with you in stages.
Condition logged, photographs taken, initial findings shared with you.
Repair carried out at the appropriate pace for the specific service.
Results measured and recorded. You receive the outcome in writing.
Watch returned with service record and any replaced components shown.
Service 01
Timekeeping Adjustment
Regulation and accuracy checking for watches that run fast or slow. We test the movement in several positions over a few days using a timing machine, then explain the readings in plain language and adjust the regulator to bring daily deviation within a comfortable range.
- Multi-position timing machine measurements
- Testing period of three to five working days
- Written result showing rate before and after
- Advice on expected ongoing accuracy
Price covers the standard service. Additional work discussed separately if internal issues are found during assessment.

Water Resistance Check
Pressure testing and gasket inspection to assess how well your watch holds against moisture. We test to the manufacturer's rated depth using a calibrated pressure chamber — not a water submersion test. Gaskets and crown seals are inspected and replaced where they show age or wear. The result is documented.
- Calibrated pressure chamber testing
- Gasket and crown seal inspection
- Seal replacement where needed (included)
- Written pass/fail result with pressure rating
- Guidance on moisture exposure going forward
Recommended before warmer seasons in Thailand or travel near water. Gasket costs included in the service price.

Service 03
Complete Restoration Service
A thorough end-to-end service combining movement work, exterior attention, and a water resistance test after reassembly. Carried out gradually — we discuss findings with you at each stage and do not proceed without your agreement. Suited to watches you want restored thoughtfully rather than quickly.
- Full movement service and lubrication
- Case and bracelet cleaning
- Gasket and seal inspection and replacement
- Pressure test after reassembly
- Staged approval — nothing proceeds without your consent
- Before/after condition documentation
Older or sentimental pieces receive particular attention. Timeline discussed at intake based on the watch's condition.

Your watch runs but loses or gains noticeably over a few days. It has not been opened recently. No moisture concerns.
You use the watch near water, you are heading somewhere humid, or you cannot remember when seals were last replaced.
The watch has not been serviced in many years, has personal significance, or needs attention both inside and outside.
