Timekeeping Adjustment
I brought in a mechanical watch that had been losing about eight minutes a day. Nathi explained the testing process clearly and kept it for four days. The result they showed me had position readings I had never seen before. Now it runs within about ten seconds a day. Happy with that.

Water Resistance Check
I was in Chiang Mai for a week and needed a water resistance check before a trip to Koh Samui. They fitted me in, replaced two gaskets that had dried out, and gave me a written result. The watch is now rated to 100m and I trusted it snorkelling. Good to have the paperwork too.

Complete Restoration

CASE STUDY 01 · May 2025
A well-worn field watch running three minutes fast each day
A stainless steel field watch from the 1980s, worn daily by its owner for fifteen years. Recently started gaining noticeably — over three minutes in 24 hours — after a long period of accurate running.
Tested across five positions over four days. Rate was inconsistent across positions, suggesting dried lubricants in the escapement. Owner was advised that a light clean and regulator adjustment was the appropriate step. Agreed. Rate stabilised to under 10 seconds per day.
Service: Timekeeping Adjustment (฿3,700). Watch returned with written test results before and after. Owner has not needed to return for the same issue in the three months since collection.
CASE STUDY 02 · June 2025
A diver's watch ahead of a trip to the Andaman coast
A 200m rated sports watch, five years old, no previous seal check. Owner planning a two-week diving holiday and wanted confirmation the watch would hold before using it underwater.
Pressure test failed at 50m — the caseback gasket had compressed significantly. Crown gasket was also aged but not yet failing. Both replaced, case resealed, retested. Passed to 200m. Complete documentation prepared.
Service: Water Resistance Check (฿5,200). Gasket replacements included. Owner left with a pass certificate to 200m. Holiday went ahead without issue. Owner returned the following month with a second watch.
CASE STUDY 03 · May 2025
A family heirloom not opened for over twenty years
A Swiss mechanical watch from the 1970s belonging to a client's late grandfather. Had stopped running. The family wanted it functional again but were concerned about the watch being altered significantly in appearance.
Full intake photograph set taken. Family briefed at each stage — case opening, movement service, and exterior cleaning scope agreed in advance (case polishing declined per client preference). Movement cleaned and lubricated. Pressure test after reassembly.
Service: Complete Restoration (฿7,800). Watch running accurately. Appearance unchanged from intake. Client received the before and after condition record and the test results. The watch is now worn regularly.
